Between Sevan Court and Van Court
Gather at the top of Sevan Court to start the parade and end on Van Court. Please ensure all participants and onlookers wear anti-Corona face masks and maintain recommended distance from others.
Please bring some individually wrapped treats, cookies, and/or juice boxes to Van Court before 5:30 so the kids can grab treats and go scavenger hunting and trick-or-treating directly after the parade.
Scavenger Hunt and Trick- or- Treating
10/31 5:30 - 7:30 pm
After the parade, we invite you to set up and participate in a scavenger hunt, where children walk from house to house looking for Halloween-themed items and admiring Halloween decorations. This is a CDC recommendation for a low-risk activity. Download the scavenger hunt list here, and you can print it for the hunt.
Homeowners who would like to set out candy and other goodies may wish to follow CDC guidelines for one-way trick-or-treating:
- “individually wrapped goodie bags are lined up for families to grab and go while continuing to social distance (such as at the end of a driveway or at the edge of a yard). If you are preparing goodie bags, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 second before and after preparing the bags.”
The CDC is discouraging doorbell ringing, as a higher risk activity.
